Five Petal Flower is a slow-fashion brand run by independent designer, Pixie Vessey. Taking inspiration from Harajuku street fashion and never-ending nostalgia, Five Petal Flower aims to transport you to a cute & colourful dream.

Founded by j-fashion veteran and content creator Pixielocks, we've built our brand off of years of experience in the scene. Made by and for kawaii fashion lovers, community is deeply important to us.

With a dedication to sustainable practices and ethical manufacturing, we aim to make friendly fashion for a happier planet.

about the brand

Hi, I'm Pixie! I've been deep in the world of alternative fashion and kawaii culture since I was a tween on tumblr. This lead me to start my Youtube channel at age 16 where I shared my love of lolita & other alternative styles. After high school, I attended fashion school at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, graduating in 2021.

I've dedicated my life to cheerful, kitschy, alternative fashion, and am very passionate about ethical and sustainable manufacturing.

Neurodivergent folks are always top of my mind when I design. I live with several disabling mental health conditions, and am fiercely passionate about mental health advocacy.

Outside of worky stuff, I have many other burning passions! I do drag, cosplay, love to sing and dance, and have too many collections to count. I help run our local j-fashion community, hosting cute & fun in-person meets is a huge passion of mine!
